Sampan Lady

I’ve just been thinking about the advantages of monochrome under some situations.  Personally, I think that the following shot looks much better in mono than it did in colour.  Sorry, but I can’t show you the colour version at the moment as I’m currently restricted to images already in my Flickr photostream.  In mono though, the image displays a rather nice colonial appearance to this photo of a Vietnamese woman in her sampan on the Perfume River at Hué.

Maybe when I eventually finish the Cuba tour story, I will move on to one on Vietnam.
